Funding Stories
The following are examples of people and projects we have had the privilege to fund.

Laburnum Road Community Church
Church Camps
The help that Laburnum Road Community Church has received from the Belton Trust has been invaluable. We are seeking to share the Good News of Jesus with a very needy and under privileged area in Leicester.
The provision of financial help to subsidise the cost of our young people attending the summer camps at Arnesby has been tremendous. Young people who otherwise would not have been able to go on camp, were enabled to directly, as a result of the generosity of the Belton Trust.
Over a period of three or four years, thirty or so young people have heard the Gospel at the camps due to the help of the Belton Trust.”
The Trust were able to match the money that Laburnum Road were already pledging for the young people meaning that the youngsters only had to find a minimal amount themselves in order to enjoy a time at camp. On camp, they were able to enjoy a range of different activities and hear the Gospel clearly taught. We pray that this will produce fruit in their lives which will last for eternity.

Market Overton Free Church
Bible times experience Bible Exhibition
Jem Hudson, from Foundation Matters, brings one of his Bible Exhibitions to Market Overton each year for two days. We hire a coach and bring pupils from up to 8 local primary schools to the hall we use. They have an interactive tour round the display panels, with church members giving cameo performances of Bible characters from the stories being told. The gospel message is presented clearly and sensitively to the children (and staff with them). This is followed by three activities of tasting Bible times food, dressing up in Bible times clothes, and doing a quiz on the exhibition. Children are offered a pack to take home which includes a Gospel, information about church activities, and a free Bible offer. Some children have requested this free Bible each year. We view this as an excellent gospel event that builds on our pastor’s regular visits to the schools to take assemblies. Grants from the Belton-in-Rutland Baptist Trust have enabled us as a small rural church to run this project, which otherwise would be difficult for us.

Short Term Mission
Kezzia Brown
The Belton in Rutland Trust helped to fund my gap year at the Oakes, where I was working on children's camps focused on sharing the good news of Jesus. I am so grateful to them as it meant that I was able to work, learn and serve for a whole year which was also so beneficial to growing my faith.
